Grown at 2,000–2,200 masl in Guji, Ethiopia, this natural-processed micro-lot comes from 33 smallholder farmers working with Sookoo Coffee, a producer known for its commitment to sustainability and quality. These farmers cultivate the Gibirinna/Serto (74110 & 74112) landrace varietals in rich, biodiverse environments, using natural fertilizers like coffee husks and manure to improve soil health.
After careful handpicking and sorting, the cherries undergo a 21–28 day drying process on raised beds, ensuring optimal development of flavor. This meticulous process preserves the region’s signature profile, producing a coffee with juicy acidity, floral hints, and layers of ripe berries and tropical fruit.
